Rescued in Colorado: Doug’s Path to a Forever Home

Doug’s journey to our family began in the Four Corners region, where he was found in poor condition due to neglect and lack of resources. Like many animals in the area, he was struggling to survive in an environment impacted by overpopulation and limited access to proper care.

Fortunately, Soul Dog Rescue stepped in to help. Their team rescued Doug, providing him with food, medical attention, and a safe place to recover. Thanks to their efforts and the care of several foster homes, Doug regained his health and eventually found his forever home with us.

Doug’s story highlights the ongoing need for animal rescue services in underserved areas like the Four Corners region. Organizations like Soul Dog Rescue play a critical role in giving animals a second chance.
